Kamloops, BC where I live has very unique landscapes which is quite different from the west part of BC. It is a semi-desert with dramatic land formation where sagebrush and rattle snakes are often seen. These characteristics fascinate me expecially during the sunset. In this painting, I tried to depict the scene created by the sun hitting the hoodoos and rock formation, a beautiful scene that makes me hold my breath.

"My inspiration comes from ordinary scenes from everyday life. I believe there is beauty in all things we see and experience, however it can be often overlooked. The purpose of my art is to bring them on to canvases and share with the world."
