About the Artwork
At a local farmers market, warm sunlight was casting on a bulk of onions in a box. The beautiful contrast of shadow and light, the colours of the onions caught my eyes. It can be not so extraordinary scene, but I found the beauty in it; dugged out of soil, washed, and brought to the market by farmers. They may only last a couple of weeks if stored well and start to decay. It reminds me of anything beautiful can't last forever.
