About the Artwork
I was inspired to capture the atmosphere and heat of fresh asphalt being laid by a skilled crew utilizing heavy machinery. Like many of the folks who manage the infrastructure we rely on, their important work is often done without fanfare or recognition. Here is an image that celebrates and thanks them.
