About the Artwork
This is part of an ongoing Mythical Journey series , this piece describes the sense of climbing, seeking through an arduous
journey a Gateway to a higher plane. It has been built up with many layers using pallet knife and brushwork working both flat and vertically, energetic brushwork gives way to places the paint appears to disolve to create a sense of movement of breaking through barriers.
