When I was 10 and my mom explained how Christianity taught that Eve, the first woman, ate the forbidden fruit and in committing that sin damned all of womankind for eternity by charging them with childbirth. I was appalled by this notion. How women have always been cast as the embodiment of sin in religions unless they are chaste and sacrifice their sexuality and lives to religion. And how they are punished. Stop punishing women for a tale construed by men. Her arm reaches up in a cry of help because of the treachery of the more evil sexe.
