This painting was created on textured canvas with rice paper and mark making to start. I was really listening to my intuition when I painted this. I kept in mind the shapes I wanted & how they would relate to the piece as it progressed. She was named half way through it when the Poppies started to emerge. I love the feeling of happiness this brings me when I look at it.
