In this painting, I try to show how we as Canadians are lucky to have the freedoms that we do, but at the same time, we are watched over in almost everything that those freedoms allow…. So, are we really free? Regardless, my love for this country is strong and I’d consider myself extremely fortunate to be born and raised in Canada because of all the many opportunities that I have inherited as a result.
