About the Artwork
Bai Shui Tai is located at Shangri-la, Yunnan, China. It is about 2380m above sea level. It is a natural wonder formed by the dissolution of calcium carbonate in spring water. Calcium bicarbonate springs slowly downstream, carbonate gradually precipitated over the years to form a mantle like layer of terraces.
