About the Artwork

When I walk along the prairie dirt road this small plant grows along the side of the road. It only grows about 5” high so upon closer inspection it appears as an exotic plant, one that just calls for my attention. As a part of my Prairie Plant series some of these tiny plants and blooms are found only by slowing down and walking with full awareness of our surroundings.
