About the Artwork

We are On the Edge of many environmental changes. In light of the environmental conditions worldwide I want to express the invaluable importance of insects to humanities survival by putting them in an unusual position of strength. The Butterfly Effect, the phenomenon whereby a minute localized change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere, this term first introduced by Edward Norton Lorenz’s work. We also have this opportunity to make better choices however small to make a large impact in the world we share.
