The first time I stepped foot on the path of Lynn Valley's river trail, I was in awe of the fantastical dripping moss hung like blankets over the branches of the outstretched limbs of trees. It really feels otherworldly and so the extraordinary color of the painting reflects those emotions, while the imagery itself captures the reality of the scene.
