Along the Sea to Sky highway, travellers wiz past dozens of unnamed trickles and falls. One of them however, is large enough to have a name and it's called Deek's Creek. As we ventured around to take some photos we were met by a cautious aboriginal man telling us stories of how his people used the creek for washing and bathing for many years. Unfortunately, we came across dumped building supplies that this man regularly cleans up and he's always on watch for trespassers that dump their garbage or attempt to build random huts for nomadic lifestyles. Deek's Creek is an example and reminder that clean water is a life source and that we must respect this land more than we are.
