About the Artwork

The "This is not a piece of fabric" series was inspired by childhood recollections of my father's handkerchief. I tried to recreate the fabric-like elements through painting, but many people confused it for a fabric print or image. The fabric's softness and delicate lines represent my father's love and gentleness, as well as their influence on my life as a solid foundation.
