Life can be difficult and hard at times. If you're anything like me, getting rid of the distractions and noise that contemporary life brings can help you focus on the things that matter most in life. This piece was inspired by a brief, chilly January day spent walking the dogs down a narrow country backroad as the sun was setting early as it does this time of year on the prairies. Ablaze with the sun's fading flames, the orange glow of the setting sun made it impossible to miss the promise of a new day.
