These trees were painted 'en plein air' at Rolley Lake, BC. Like thin arrows pointing to the sky, I was immediately captivated by the way they draw your eyes upwards to great heights, but also how they reach out towards each other with soft, mossy arms. Their only job is to slowly extend upwards in steady growth, so imperceptible that they create a scene of perfect stillness and tranquility.
