About the Artwork

Grizzly was seen eating grass and flowers. The Grizzly is an omnivore; they will eat grass, berries, other fruit, if opportunity presents. They will break into feed bins and eat what was intended for cattle. They will scavenge, driving wolves off their kill. I once saw a Bear pursue and kill an adult Cariboo. They are not averse to digging for Marmots or other small mammals. I saw them turning over rocks and logs and licking up the small invertebrates that ran for cover. They will rip open a bee hive. In October, they go to the river. Salmon fishing.
