This specialized technique incorporates watercolours and melted parafin wax application. The watercolour paper is coated with wax, crinkled in multi directions. Watercolours applied to the random areas of the felled wax promoting a crackled effect. After all the wax is removed by a hot iron, traditional watercolours is applied, resulting an impression of light and storming sky on the water and lighthouse.
