About the Artwork
The Cooper Hawk, silent predator, watching in a not too distant tree with His acute eyes glued to my winter bird feeder! I feel somewhat guilty making smaller feeder birds an easy target for this Guy but He isn't here every day and I suppose He has to eat as well.
Trying to get a good contrast in values with just a pencil is why I like to draw.
