This is another painting of Algonquin Park, and its many marshes. The colour of the bright blue water was what captured my interest in the subject. These marshes are often occupied by many of the moose in the area and I constantly am on the lookout for them. This scene is a combination of many photos of marshes within the Park. I use various samples of light and colour from many of my photos and on site paintings to come up with a desirable studio painting.
