About the Artwork
As artists, I believe we all have a very strong connection to nature. For me personally, I thrive when I am outside, either walking in the woods or through meadows. This scene was one of those moments - my daughter and I walked along a boardwalk in Canmore; I turned around and this view stopped me in my tracks - the reflections in the water, the distant mountains, felt serene and peaceful.
