About the Artwork

From the majestic rainforest in British Columbia comes the Tree of Life painting, with the morning light streaming through branches and creating patterns of light and colour like stained glass windows in a forest cathedral. Anne Gudrun

North Vancouver, British Columbia

Canadian artist Anne Gudrun has always been fascinated by how colours and shapes define the essence and personality of things. Her paintings reflect the beauty of nature with bold vibrancy and an innate sense of design.

"As a young girl I read stories of fairy-tale forests, trolls, myths and magic. It’s a world of wonder, adventure, mystery and transformation and it’s that world I want to re-create through my art, opening a doorway to a more brilliant reality."
