Jing Jenny Jia
Jia was a graphic designer and layout editor. After moving to Canada, Jia studied Fine Arts at UBC Okanagan campus, making the Dean’s list. Her works have been exhibited in numerous art shows throughout the years, Like, Hambleton Gallery in Kelowna, Lloyd Gallery in Penticton, Alternate Gallery in Vernon, FCA gallery in Vancouver. etc.
Since 2009, Jia has been teaching and creating art in Vancouver. She wins awards for her paintings and sculptures in different juried shows. Oil painting “Summer, 2021, Objects in the Mirror May Be Closer Than They Appear" won first place in 2021 FAC “Now” Exhibition; sculpture “Head Up” won second place in ARTS 2021 sculpture
