A life long resident of Vancouver Island, B.C., Mary Ann Laing has been painting for as long as she can remember. She became an active member of the FCA in the 80s, was awarded AFCA signature status in 2008 and is presently represented by West End Gallery LTD in Victoria, B.C. Having experimented with a variety of mediums over the years she still prefers oils, the first medium she tried in high school, first love.
