Myrtle-Anne is a professional artist who has exhibited extensively and is the recipient of numerous awards and honourable mentions. She graduated from the University College of the Fraser Valley with a major in Painting and Printmaking (Honors). She has been awarded Signature Status in the Federation of Can. Artists (SFCA), Can. Society of Painters in Watercolour(CSPWC), and the Northwest Watercolour Society in the USA (NWWS)
Myrtle-Anne received the honour of being one of the "40 Distinguished Alumni" for excellence at the 40th Anniversary of the University of the Fraser Valley.
In 2018 she authored BRUSHSTROKES OF LIFE: an Autobiography by Myrtle-Anne Rempel
in 2022 - she was the recipient of the QUEENS PLATINUM JUBILEE AWARD.
