Live Jury #1 This painting is a reworked piece that hung on my studio wall for months. The painting felt bland. I decided to rub dark paint onto the surface and discovered it accentuated the texture. I bravely added the golden stripes to create a focal point on the painting. I took risks while creating "Ask Anne" which taught me new skills and reminded me that the more I push myself, the more I can learn from my art.
