Live Jury #3 London's Regent Street is an architectural marvel of Beaux Arts architecture, elegantly curving around the street layout planned in 1825. The regularity of the columns and windows creates rhythm and perspective, broken here by the steam rising from street grates and pavement after a rain. The headlights of the famous black taxis shine through the mist and reflect onto the wet streets. My goal in this piece is to evoke the feeling of searching for an aprés-theatre nightcap to discuss the evening's performance, and the wondrous feeling of walking through a foreign city after a rain.
