Painted at the end of summer, this collection of flowers from my garden is based on photos taken in different months. Peonies from June, followed by daylilies and laceflowers in July, and finally coneflowers in August - all found a happy composition in this painting done in traditions of Dutch Golden Age master artists.
This piece will not be included in the physical exhibition on Granville Island but meets the quality standards of the FCA and is classified as, "Recognized Artwork."
