The Yee(or 彝Yi) people live in China, Vietnam, and Thailand. They are the seventh largest of the 55 ethnic minority groups officially recognized by Chinese government. Through history, Yee 彝 group has kept their own culture, language, beliefs, as well as their beauty pageant. Women of 彝 ethnic group participated in clothing presentation and talent show during the pageant, which boasts a history of over 1,000 years.
