Going out to paint has always been my first preference. Being a full-time criminology student and working alongside don’t leave much time for me to paint though, but i somehow manage to stay connected with my passion. This was the day when i had a day free, the month was of December, i guess. I went downtown, went off from skytrain on Chinatown station and started looking for a roof to stand underneith as it was raining that day. This spot instantly hit my mind as i saw it and there was enough space under that bar-awning for me to put my easel and paint. I made this watercolour paining. This painting isn’t based on a concept. However, i paint because it is my primal urge, It has always been, to paint and it is the interplay of the subject(s) and myself which i most enjoy, being in the moment, the process of painting. Hence, this work represents my love of painting.
