2020 Signature Medal Juror Artwork This particular scene was from a photo taken near Yachats in Oregon a year ago. I took many shots along the coastline and I found myself hypnotized by the sound and motion of the water - it felt very calming. This painting is all about the power of the waves, trying to capture their dynamic movement and the transparency of their light.
