Microscopic plankton in addition to being as crucial to our survival as the trees on terra firma, are beautiful. They provide fifty per cent of our oxygen but are under threat from ocean acidification and warming. My ongoing plankton series is an attempt to raise awareness of their importance.
This piece will not be included in the physical exhibition on Granville Island but meets the quality standards of the FCA and is classified as, "Recognized Artwork."
