The power and stamina of Bison is legendary...a friend of mine was hired to roundup some stragglers that had migrated out of Wood Buffalo National Park in Northern Alberta with his helicopter. He said after running for an hour or so, their tongues would hang out. After awhile, the tongues would go back in....their lumbering gallop would continue for hours. Amazing!
