This painting was done after a long summer hike in the Rogers Pass area of Glacier National Park with Mount Sir Donald in the distant. Appreciating the beauty of the Selkirk Mountains of BC, Canada. The history of Canadian Pacific Railway and the receding glaciers was a reminder of the great history of this area and how everything is always changing. The view was breathtaking and I felt fortunate to be able to sketch and take it all in and then express it as I remember for you to experience.
