About the Artwork
When I first read the subject matter of this exhibition I was immediately reminded of a lovely comment made by a neighbor "the lilies in your garden are such a gift!" I was drawn to paint these delightfully graceful flowers shining gold and red in the evening sun, swaying back and forth in the summer breeze - dancing in the sun.
