About the Artwork

This past February, we spent a week at Elk Lakes Cabin In Elk Lakes Provincial Park We hauled our gear in by sled and snowshoe, breaking trail for the last 5 km through thigh deep snow. From the hut one can just see the top of Mt. Fox, gleaming in the morning sun. We spent our days breaking trail by ski to work our way to find an ice climbing route which once tracks were established, we climbed for 2 days. Mt. Jennifer is a realist painter and has enjoyed a full time art career since 1989. She has a BFA in Art and Design, and is an elected member of the FCA, CSPWC, and AWS. Her preferred mediums are watercolour and charcoal.
