About the Artwork
There is a time on an empty road to stop and grab a picture. So fortunate with the season of leave color last Sept into the Cariboo. The sweep of golden pasture such a contrast to the ragged forest edges. The play of cool and warm fall foliage, in shadow and again in sun…and the road. Like a ribbon plays and cuts the image in a sweeping curve. Glowing glazes were left unpainted to enhance the foliage, foreground and spatter effect.
